This one day class for a the lucky couples looking to make their very own knife to cut the wedding cake / finalise the divorce

This class is run with a maximum of two couples to give us a little more time to complete the knives to a high standard suitable to be used on the big day.

The day is spent learning the process of forging a cake knife working as a couple on the forge, to shape and form the material to the desired shape. After a bite for lunch we get started on the grinders forming and refining the cutting edges, plunge lines and tang . We then go through the heat treatment process and finally finish up putting the handle on.

We also offer the chance to upgrade the class by purchasing a pattern welded billet to make your own damascus knife.

What's included in the price?

All the tools, materials, P.P.E (safety glasses, hearing protection, apron, etc)

Tea and coffee is provided but please bring your own packed lunch.
