Four Hours at the Forge — the Perfect Introduction
A four-hour introduction to the ancient craft of blacksmithing — everything you need to know and nothing you don't. Working with real fire and hot steel, guided by the Phoenix Forge team every step of the way, you'll come away with something you made entirely with your own hands and a genuine feel for what this craft is all about.
Our half day sessions run on the same days as our full day experiences, from 9:00am to 1:00pm. They are ideal for anyone who has never had a go before, for younger guests, for people who are less physically able, or simply as a gift experience that doesn't take up a whole day. Everything is provided — just turn up and get stuck in.
Run in small groups with plenty of attention from our team, this is as accessible and welcoming as blacksmithing gets. And if the morning leaves you wanting more, you're welcome to upgrade to the full day experience on the spot — just let us know.
